Mindful Meditation

Meditation is a great way to tune into the present moment and the senses. It can help you achieve personal clarity and direction in your life.

Other benefits of mindfulness include:

  • Self-control

  • Objectivity

  • Affect tolerance

  • Enhanced flexibility

  • Equanimity

  • Improved concentration

  • Mental clarity

  • Emotional intelligence

  • The ability to relate to others and one's self with kindness, acceptance and compassion

Meditating can be challenging and frustrating at the beginning, however, with practice gets much easier and relaxing. There is no "right" way to practice mindfulness or meditation. Your thoughts will drift. It's about bringing your focus and attention back to the present moment and to your breath. Be patient and kind to yourself. Use the video below to give meditating a try.
